Colleges and Universities
Jack is, by nature, an intellectual, and nothing pleases him more than to have a heady discussion about culture, morals and values, history, psychology, sociology, anthropology and a host of other topics and figure out ways in which storytelling plays a role. His lively way of leading discussions and his keen interest in what others think and believe have made him a popular lecturer.
For colleges and universities, we also offer three different packages to best suit your needs. Also, you may wish to look at our Raven in Residence section, with the possibility of an extended stay in your community.
Jack's experiential knowledge is vast and lends itself to a variety of topics, from The Role of Art in Modern and Traditional Societies, to Story Theory, to various topics about Alaska, its indigenous cultures and its role in world affairs, to indigenous philosophies in general. Jack's theatrical productions also lend themselves to in-depth discussions of culture and change.
Whether for a class period or whole semester, Jack's role as a cultural ambassador, performer and teacher will add to whatever topic you may be teaching.
